Mobile Vet Tech Services

  • Anal Gland Expression

Issues with anal glands may cause your dog some discomfort, prompting them to lick and scoot. Expressing anal glands can provide relief for your pup and help prevent worse issues from arising.

  • Ear Cleaning

While any dog can develop an ear infection, some breeds are more prone than others. Cleaning your dog’s ears helps keep them clean and prevents buildup of wax and debris which can lead to an infected ear.

  • Nail Trims

Regular pet nail grooming allows for proper weight distribution on their paws, improving their overall mobility and coordination. Long nails are prone to breakage, splitting, and snagging, which can cause painful injuries.

  • Subcutaneous Fluid Administration

Administering supplemental fluids can benefit dogs and cats with a variety of medical conditions. Most commonly, home fluid therapy is recommended for pets with kidney disease or chronic kidney disease—also known as chronic renal failure.

  • Medication Administration

Administering medications as prescribed by your veterinarian is critical to the health and recovery of your pet during illness or injury recovery. At times it can be difficult to make picky pets take their necessary medications, and we can help with that. We are trained to provide prescribed meds in ways that will be most comfortable for your pet.

  • In-Home Post-Operative Care

When our fur babies have surgery of any kind, it is stressful. This service is designed to help care for them after they have been released from the hospital and to provide aid and relief in the comfort of your home.

Service includes but is not limited to: following post-operative instructions from your veterinarian/surgeon; temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate; administration of medications; photos of surgical site for documentation; feeding if needed; safely assisting pet for potty breaks; warm or cold compresses; cleaning up any accidents on the patient and/or in the crate; cleaning of the Elizabethan collar aka “cone zone”; lots of TLC and compassion.
